Former dunnhumby worker Artem Lavrinovich has joined in-store audio intelligence platform QSIC as Chief Data and AI Officer. The firm has also appointed former Epsilon Retail Media Americas CEO David Haase, to lead its US operations as President.QSIC uses AI audio and data intelligence to help retailers and brands improve their in-store experience, using a patented method to measure the impact of audio advertising on real-world in-store transactions. The firm, whose clients include global retailers in fuel and convenience, grocery, liquor, hospitality, fashion and specialty retail, says it is on track for a record year following a $25m funding round.
Lavrinovich (pictured) joins from CoolerX, where he helped develop advanced retail media capabilities for spin-off venture RPM Labs. Earlier he worked at Amazon, and at dunnhumby where he was responsible for advancing pricing, promotions, assortment and marketing strategies for major retailers. In his newly created role he oversee QSIC's global data and AI strategy, directing efforts to deliver intelligent, personalized and automated experiences backed by measurable results.
Haase brings more than 25 years of experience including senior leadership roles at Triad Retail Media and The Mars Agency, and most recently was CEO of the Americas at CitrusAd (now, Epsilon Retail Media). Lachlan Gow, into whose current role Haase will move, will transition to lead growth across EMEA.
