Global research and insights association ESOMAR has enlarged its governing Council for 2025-2028 with the addition of representatives for North and South America, adding new perspectives. The two are Sandy Casey from InnovateMR and Mariela Mociulsky from Trendsity in Argentina.ESOMAR says the appointments strengthen inclusivity and regional representation on the Council, and reinforce its commitment to diversity of perspective. The association's governance guidelines state that when regional representation gaps remain following Council elections, the seated Council may appoint up to two additional members.
Casey (pictured top) is based in the US and serves currently as SVP of Global Supply at InnovateMR. She has more than twenty years' experience in MR, sales operations and business development, and is known for her expertise in supply procurement, operations, strategic planning and partnership development. Prior to Innovate she worked at Cint, Greenfield Online and Toluna.
Mociulsky (pictured below) is CEO of Buenos Aires-based consumer insights and trend analysis firm Trendsity, which she founded in 2007, after working as General Manager of Consumer Trends of the CCR Group for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. She has also served two terms as President of SAIMO (Sociedad Argentina de Investigadores de Marketing y Opinión), and is currently its Vice President.
The new Council, on which Casey and Mociulsky will serve the full term ending in 2028, officially began its work in April this year, and is led by newly elected President Anne-Sophie Damelincourt (France), Director of Development at Strategir, who comments: 'I am delighted to announce that Sandy and Mariela have been elected to fulfill our goal of being more inclusive and bringing specific expertise to Council. We are honored to welcome these highly talented, experienced, and connected women. Congratulations from the whole community!'
