Health sector consulting firm PharmSight Research & Analytics has announced the opening of a new European hub in Zug, Switzerland. It is also launching Conversity, an AI-driven training platform focused on negotiation and sales skills and employing avatars, scenario-based simulations and real-time analytics.

PharmSight's team of more than 50 consultants offers services including advanced data management, patient analytics, reporting automation, forecasting and customer insight, to clients in the biopharmaceutical industry. The company is headquartered in Gurugram, India, with offices in Boston, US (recently launched) and now Zug. It also says it plans to expand into the Middle East in the near future, and to open an innovation centre focused on AI and machine learning.
The new business will operate in Europe's pharmaceutical heartland under the name of PharmSight GmbH, and will be led by Gianclaudio Floria, a recently appointed CEO with more than twenty years of experience in commercial operations and strategic roles at major corporations.
The Conversity training platform is designed specifically for the pharmaceutical sector, and uses immersive simulations, customized scenarios and in-depth analytics to improve sales performance. Co-founder Siddharth Pathela comments: 'Our Zug office marks a significant step in our global journey. We're excited to unveil Conversity, the latest addition to our proprietary AI toolkit - Intellisight, Pharmlens, Pharmalert, and Cintel.'
