Senior Moves and New Brand for SAMY

June 26 2025

Madrid-based social media management and marketing firm SAMY Alliance has rebranded as SAMY, giving its network of agencies a single, unified identity. The firm has recently promoted Alex Hill to Chief Strategy Officer and Nathan Townsend to Chief Partnerships Officer.

Juan Andrés ElhazazFounded in 2012, SAMY helps clients with social-first marketing strategies, through a combination of proprietary software and advanced analytics tools. It employs more than 900 people in twenty offices. In the last year the company has acquired US-based digital advocacy marketing agency Content Lab; digital agency MDS; social agency Kurio; and German social media and influencer marketing agency Intermate. These company names will remain as brands within the group, while older acquisitions will be fully merged, with the disappearance of the names SHARE Creative, Capture Intelligence, Thyga, dLaundry and Nobox, as well as SamyRoad.

SAMY says the new positioning reflects its commitment to delivering integrated, end-to-end social media marketing solutions. In the remained of this year it plans to strengthen its presence in key markets such as the US, Europe (where it opened a Milan office earlier in the year), and Mexico - both organically and by acquisition.

CEO Juan Andrés Elhazaz (pictured) comments: 'At SAMY, our vision has always been clear: to lead the evolution of brand communication, with a mission of making brands matter by creating meaningful human connections. Coming together as a single entity is a statement of our ambition and momentum and represents a pivotal moment in our journey.' Hill, who has headed up the repositioning, comments: 'There's a new generation of consumers who demand connectivity, discovery and authenticity. By formally bringing our agencies together under the SAMY alias, we can more easily share our learnings and work together as one, supporting our brand clients in understanding fast-changing consumer behaviour.'

The firm is online at www.samy.com/en .
