Sundial, an AI-based analytics platform founded by former Meta executives, has secured $16m in Series A funding. The money will be used to expand engineering and product teams; invest in core AI capabilities; and expand the firm's customer base.Sundial, which boasts OpenAI as a customer, brings together fragmented analytics tools, including dashboards and data transformation pipelines, into a single AI analytics platform, with the aim of helping companies make faster decisions.
The round adds to $7m raised earlier and was headed up by data science pioneer and GPV partner DJ Patil.
