Dutch Firm BoldData becomes CompanyData

Amsterdam-based business information firm BoldData has changed its name to CompanyData.

In addition to its Netherlands headquarters, the firm has offices in Berlin and Dubai, and clients in 81 countries. Founded in 2013 as a supplier of verified, structured company data, it specialises in custom-built datasets with legal entity data, company hierarchies, contact data and B2B email data. In total it boasts a database of 380 million companies across 200 countries.

CEO Daan Wolff says the new name is 'simple, but powerful', adding: 'It reflects exactly what we do: making accurate company data easy to access, reliable and ready to use at scale. We believe global data is only as good as its local roots. Our database is powered by official local sources: from national trade registers to chambers of commerce.'
