In New Jersey, applied behavioral science insights agency BEESY has appointed Laurel Gibson as Senior Behavioral Science Associate, and La Shawn Pearce as Senior AI Integration Associate.Gibson (pictured above) joins with more than eight years of experience applying behavioral science to drive health behavior change, including time as a researcher at the National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society, as well as the University of Colorado in Boulder where she spent nearly five years as a teacher and then a PhD Researcher / Project Manager.
Pearce (pictured below) brings a combination of technical skills, psychological insight and creative drive, according to the firm. She also has a background in teaching - including instruction in robotics and mathematics. Since 2020 she has worked as a Public Health Advisor for NYC Health and Hospitals; then in Healthcare Client Solutions at research agency GLG, for two and a half years; and most recently as as a contractor with Outlier.ai, helping train and improve the accuracy of STEM-focused AI models. She holds a BA in Psychology on the pre-med track, and an MA in Translational Medicine.
