$16m Funds for Research Platform Knit

July 31 2025

Austin, Texas-based consumer research platform Knit has raised $16.1m in Series A funding. The money will be used to accelerate product development, expand research use cases, and grow its in-house research team 'to ensure every customer is paired with a skilled research partner on every project.'

Aneesh DhawanKnit was founded in 2021 and aims to use AI to 'democratize rigorous, agency-level research' across organisations. The firm is led by CEO Aneesh Dhawan and CTO Raahish Kalaria, and promises insights professionals and researchers the ability to conduct qual and quant 'agency-quality' research in days rather than weeks, while 'preserving the depth, rigor, and context that come from human insight and experience.' A year ago it secured $9m in funding while launching an AI-driven tool called Report-Ready Insights.

The latest round was led by GFT Ventures and Ashton Kutcher's Sound Ventures, with continued participation from Silicon Road Ventures, Osage Ventures, Rise of the Rest, and others, as well as angel investors.

'Today's enterprise researchers are being asked to do more with less,' says Dhawan (pictured). 'Knit empowers them to deliver fast, cost-efficient insights without sacrificing quality or control. This funding accelerates our vision for a human plus AI platform that makes research accessible, contextual, and decision-ready.'

Knit says the funding follows a year of strong momentum, with 5x year-over-year growth and 'widespread adoption across Fortune 500 brands.' Web site: www.goknit.com .
