August 11 2025

Research tech and solutions firm Sago has sold its Health division, launched just over a year ago and led by President Shannon Childs and CEO Isaac Rogers, to continuing medical education (CME) specialist MLGH. Sago says the sale sharpens its focus on its core consumer and B2B research offerings.

Steve SchlesingerMLGH (Med Learning Group Holdings) aims to help healthcare practitioners provide optimal care to their patients: the buy brings it the benefits of 'one of the world's largest' health-focused panels for market research.

Formerly known as the Schlesinger Group, Sago launched the formal specialist Health offering in April 2024, with EVP of Healthcare Childs at the helm, and said at the time it had been 'making a significant impact in the healthcare industry for decades'. Other key execs in the division include CRO Ash Wade and SVP Finance Barbara Riley.

Sago Executive Chairman & CEO Steve Schlesinger (pictured) says the sale 'opens new opportunities for both organizations while ensuring a seamless transition for clients and employees.' Rogers states, 'Sago Health is committed to providing the outstanding service clients have come to expect, and this partnership allows us to offer even more without compromising quality.'

Matthew Frese, CEO of Med Learning Group Holdings, says of the acquisition: 'We couldn't think of a better complement to our business than Sago Health. This acquisition reinforces MLGH's strategy for the powerful growth and impact of research and education in the healthcare space.'
