The seed funding round was led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from SV Angel, Common Metal and South Park Commons, and will be used to accelerate the firm's development of conversational AI, and to boost headcount.
Founded in 2022, Keplar promises businesses the ability to have 'natural conversations' with hundreds of customers simultaneously, analyse the results in real time and receive actionable reports within hours.
'Every company wants to understand their customers deeply, but the current tools make it nearly impossible,' says CEO Dhruv Guliani - pictured to the right of his co-founder, CTO William Wen. 'A single moderated interview can cost hundreds of dollars and takes weeks to schedule. We're making it possible for any company to have real conversations with hundreds of customers simultaneously, getting rich qualitative insights at quantitative scale.'
Keplar Voice features 'dynamic, adaptive interviews' with response to participant answers in real time; customizable voice personalities and languages; participant recruitment through Keplar's panel or through a company's CRM; and shareable reports and dashboards.
