Verve Appoints Combined MD and Finance Director

UK-headquartered insight firm Verve has brought in Michael Carratt in the dual role of Managing Director of its Communities & Consulting division, and Finance Director for Verve Group.

The company launched a new tech and services platform called Verve Vero, last November, and earlier this year split the business into two units, one focused on the new offering and the other subsuming its pre-existing offerings including community panels and cultural intelligence.

Carratt, who joins Verve's Board of Directors, brings experience from finance, consulting and private equity roles. Most recently, he was a Partner at analytics consultancy JMAN Group, and earlier he worked at Montagu Private Equity and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Group CEO Andrew Cooper will also lead Verve Vero, which continues to develop its Intelligent Personas and Simulations (VIPS).
