Similarweb Lowers Entry Costs for Competitive Intell

Israel-based Similarweb has launched Web intelligence 4.0, a competitive intelligence platform updating daily with analysis of real user behavior data, and featuring self-service access for entry-level users.

Features of the new platform include AI Brand Visibility, showing how often and how favorably a brand is mentioned in response to ChatGPT prompts; AI Chatbot Traffic, benchmarking the referral traffic users and their competitors get from the major AI chatbots, with analysis of the associated consumer prompts and searches; two agents, AI Trend Analyzer and AI Strategist, which assist with SEO analytics and content planning; and integration of Similarweb data into clients' own AI applications using the company's Model Context Protocol server.

Users can supply custom lists of competitors for comparison, or view performance against the general market in a region and/or sector; view a summary of paid media visibility across display, search and social ads; and analyse and understand searches and clicks to spot emerging trends.

Similarweb says the new platform is designed / packaged with smaller businesses in mind, simplifying self-service enrollment so that 'entrepreneurs and marketing team members who sign up with a credit card' can get started with SEO and competitive intell functionality, and have access when required to 'enterprise-class features.'
