Radio Group Global Unveils Measurement Suite

Global Media & Entertainment Group, the owner of UK radio stations such as Heart, Capital, LBC and Classic FM, has launched a platform called Global:IQ, providing advertisers with a suite of tools to plan, measure and prove the impact of campaigns across audio, outdoor and video.

Global:IQ logoThe launch brings together first, second and third-party data, AI-powered analytics, ad exposure data and creative optimisation tools in one platform. First-party data comes from 11 million registered users of its Global Player, while second-party data comes from a partnership with the Transport for London network, including taps and WiFi connections, and premium partner datasets from BT/EE and Spendmapper. These are combined with data from planning sources such as TGI and TouchPoints, and measurement data from RAJAR and Route.

The suite includes DAX ID, which connects listening behaviour data across smart speakers, mobile and desktop, and across locations, promising advertisers a complete view of the listener journey for 'precise, transparent attribution'. Audio Outcomes is a new measurement solution for broadcast audio, using modelling and multi-metric dashboards to provide insights into campaign impact across the full marketing funnel. Also new is AI Creative Optimisation, powered by data from more than 500 audio campaigns; while audience planning tool Access All Audiences for Audio, built for Transport for London, is now made more widely available to clients looking to optimise reach and efficiency across the full audio ecosystem.
