ACC Debuts Synthetic Audience Tool Definity

October 24 2025

ACC Intelligence, the advanced analytics and insights unit of ACC, has launched a synthetic audience platform called Definity, allowing client companies to test creative and messaging against digital twins of their key stakeholders.

Monica ChunACC (Acceleration Community of Companies) is a network of media, marketing and communications firms supported by an in-house strategic marketing consultancy called Advisory. Its services include brand intelligence, audience segmentation, measurement, reputation management, insights and analytics.

Definity aims to provide brands with 'predictive certainty' for their decision-making, synthesizing census data, behavioral patterns, ethnographic research, and proprietary 'netnographic' signals drawn from online audience behavior. These digital twins are used to simulate responses from customers, investors, employees, regulators and media across audience from broad demographics down to micro-communities and individual targets.

The firm says a recent public study conducted together with the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism tested synthetic audience responses against 509 real Gen Alpha survey participants and achieved 96% alignment with actual respondents, according to a proprietary statistical modeling technique.

ACC President Monica Chun (pictured) comments: 'Too many brands only learn that their creative missed the mark when they see a controversial headline about an ad that didn't land the way they'd hoped. Definity helps CMOs mitigate budget and reputational risk so they can push bold ideas without stepping on cultural landmines.' Definity product architect Michael Kittilson adds: 'Speed matters when you're making creative calls, but trust matters more. That's why we've baked in privacy protections, accuracy validations and human bias reviews,so brands feel safe leveraging AI.'
