Led by CEO Alfred Jay (pictured) and headquartered in Ottowa, Canada, Recollective already offers a full-featured qual research platform with options including long-term communities, asynchronous and live qualitative activities, and AI-powered analysis.
The firm says the new tool is provided with a conversation objective, guiding the AI moderator on what to ask, how to respond and what tone to take: it then allows a dialogue to evolve, adapting to the individual participant and providing feedback 'as nuanced and reflective as a live interview.'
The full Task suite also includes AI-built summaries and full transcripts, automatic rapid translation into any study language, and integrated analysis through Ask AI or for export to Excel, CSV or HTML. Recollective suggests Task can be used to run 'hundreds or thousands of one-on-one interviews at once.'
