New YouGov Norway Panel Integrates Passive Data

YouGov is launching a new Norwegian panel solution, combining passive data collection with survey data to provide clients with consumer attitudes alongside observed behavior as it happens.

Stefan HeremansYouGov has offices in the UK, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific. Its 'Living Data' platform analyses feedback from 26 million registered panel members worldwide, and feeds into offerings such as Profiles, BrandIndex and CategoryView.

The new solution will draw on automated receipt data collection from a panel of 5000 households, and is part of a broader European expansion of the company's advanced data collection capabilities. In addition to real-time tracking of shopping patterns and purchase behaviour, YouGov says Norwegian FMCG brands and retailers will get broader and deeper consumer coverage, courtesy of enhanced panel infrastructure; and local customization to reflect Norwegian consumer dynamics.
