KERV uses proprietary and patented pixel-edge recognition and correlation technology to capture metadata across every frame in a video, allowing it to identify, analyze and match objects with contextually relevant advertising.
The round was led by LA-based media, entertainment and technology investor Coral Tree Partners, and follows 'record commercial and partnership growth,' according to KERV.
Gary Mittman (pictured), CEO of KERV.ai, comments: 'With Coral Tree's partnership, we'll continue to scale our contextual commerce and AI video-intelligence solutions, helping to drive measurable results for our clients and partners while shaping the future of outcomes-based interactive storytelling.' Alan Resnikoff, a Partner at Coral Tree, says the technology combines creative storytelling, commerce activation and data-driven performance, and adds: 'We believe this team is poised to lead the convergence of content, commerce and contextual intelligence, and we look forward to partnering with and supporting their next chapter of growth.'
