Real-time data platform Redpanda has appointed former Duo Security and Cisco exec Jennifer Lawrence as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
Redpanda's AI infrastructure software helps enterprise customers to connect AI agents with their data and systems. Backed by venture investors Lightspeed GV and Haystack VC - it raised $100m in a Series D round in March - the company has recently acquired SQI engine Oxla, and launched a new product line called the Agentic Data Plane (ADP).
Lawrence (pictured) brings more than twenty years of revenue leadership experience, most recently from Expel, where she was CRO, scaling commercial teams and expanding operations globally. Earlier she was a Global VP of Sales at Duo Security, which was acquired by Cisco in 2020, and went on to lead the veteran networking company's security sales, building the Duo footprint within its new home from $7m to over $550m ARR.
In her new role, she oversees all go-to-market strategy, global revenue operations and customer engagement initiatives. 'Redpanda is entering a transformative phase of growth,' says founder and CEO Alex Gallego. 'As agentic applications move from concept to enterprise reality, the demand for reliable, high-performance streaming infrastructure has never been greater. Jennifer's experience driving revenue growth at world-class companies makes her uniquely suited to guide us through this next chapter. Her leadership will help us reach new markets, deepen customer relationships, and extend our category leadership.'
