Senior Media Insights Hire for UK Firm Disrupt

British-based agency Disrupt Insight has appointed Sandy McDougall as Head of Media Effectiveness.

Disrupt founders and Sandy McDougallDisrupt was set up two years ago by former Walnut Unlimited execs Chris Bland and Matt Rice-Haynes, and has been rapidly expanding its headcount in 2025, including senior qual hires.

McDougall (pictured between the founders) has been Acting Director of Business Intelligence at Formula E for the last six months capping more than four years in BI roles at the motor racing body. In this role she led a team delivering BI reporting, KPI ownership and executive insights across global media and fandom performance, and managing all media research & strategy initiatives. Prior to this she took a family career break, and from 2010 to 2019 she worked at Sky, initially as Insight & Decision Science Research Manager and since August 2014 as Controller of Sponsorship & Partnership Insight. Earlier she worked in Business Strategy at retailer John Menzies for three years, and held research and planning roles at Discovery Networks, UKTV and the Daily Mirror.
