Kantar has appointed Greg Friend as SVP, Head of Media Product for North America, based in Chicago.
Friend (pictured) brings more than fifteen years' experience in media, ad tech and data-driven innovation, most recently from three years at advertising services firm Nativo where he was VP of Content, Strategy & Insights, launching programs to advance audience measurement, content performance optimization, and advanced analytics. Earlier he worked in leadership roles at Ampersand, Comcast Spotlight, and Collective; and he began his career with around four years at Nielsen, managing global product launches for digital advertising effectiveness and media attribution. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Philosophy, and Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University.
In his new role, Friend will drive innovation in AI-powered media analytics, cross-platform measurement and actionable sales lift solutions.
He reports to Rachelle Minnis, Chief Media Solution Officer, who comments: 'Greg's proven track record in media innovation and deep understanding of advertiser needs will be instrumental in shaping solutions that help our clients prove and improve media performance. His extensive experience and leadership will accelerate our efforts to harness AI and advanced methodologies, ensuring that our clients can confidently navigate today's complex media landscape, demonstrate clear ROI, and unlock new growth opportunities.'
