Lithuanian reputation analysis company Repsense has closed a EUR 2 million Seed round, to be used for developing its information analytics capabilities.
The company was founded in 2022 by Mykolas Katkus, Alfredas Chmieliauskas and Robertas Danielianas, and uses a combination of field research and data science / machine learning to enhance the brand reputation of global clients. Its flagship Havel platform - used by NATO and a number of European government institutions as well as commercial clients - helps clients track and predict the spread and impact of information across media.
Repsense says it is also developing its expertise and technology for short-form algorithmic content analysis and object-based recognition technology across emerging media formats. Already used to track and fight disinformation and safeguard brand reputations, this capability has caught the attention of investors.
'The information environment has become a frontline for governments, businesses, and institutions alike,' states CEO Katkus (pictured), who adds: 'We built our platform to give decision-makers the tools to see what's coming and respond faster.'
