Naxion Promotes Company Veteran to President and COO

January 8 2026

In the US, research and consulting company Naxion has promoted Michael Polster to the role of President and COO. Polster is an academic neuropsychologist by training, has worked at the company for 25 years, and currently co-leads its Litigation & Regulatory practice.

Michael PolsterEmployee-owned Naxion traces its roots back to 1911 when Philadelphia-based Curtis Publishing launched 'the world's first business research company', as an internal resource. The unit was spun out as a separate commercial entity around 100 years ago and was acquired by global consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton in the 1970s. It was bought out by two Booz Allen consultants in the 1990s, and today serves as a boutique research firm with expertise in Health & Life Sciences, Financial Services, IT, B2B, and Consumer Lifestyle & Leisure, in addition to Polster's Litigation & Regulatory unit.

Polster's expertise includes driver modeling and segmentation. He replaces Jeffrey Resnick, who has been in the role for six years and will spend 2026 as a senior adviser to the company as he moves into retirement.

Polster (pictured) join Naxion as a Project Manager, rose to VP status by 2004 and has been an SVP since 2007. Prior to joining, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Victoria University of Wellington for four years, after three and a half years as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Arizona.
