Vista Grande Buys Ameritest System from Dynata

Dynata has sold its Ameritest Creative Testing System to shopper insights specialist Vista Grande.

Vista Grande was founded in 2017, and employs around 35 people in teams based in the US and Canada. A year ago it acquired real-world in-store testing specialist GameChanger Products, LLC.

Ameritest provides insights into the effectiveness of creative in building 'brand memories' and shaping consumer decision-making. The system has been operative for more than 30 years and has developed proprietary methodologies including Picture Sorts, Copy Sorts, Flash Tests and Memory Maps.

In its new home, the solution will still use Dynata's respondents, and will continue to be led by its current team, 'preserving its methodological rigor' according to Vista Grande. The new owner will invest in accelerating product innovation, expanding applications and scaling its impact globally. CEO Russ Onish comments, 'By combining Ameritest's best-in-class creative diagnostics with Vista Grande's deep expertise in consumer choice perception, our clients will understand which campaigns will succeed, why they work, and how they influence purchase decisions across today's complex ecosystem, including brand campaigns, digital media, Retail Media Networks, and critical shopper moments.'

According to Dynata CPO Deirdre Thomas, 'The transition of Ameritest to Vista Grande ensures that this specialized creative diagnostics product thrives under a consultative research agency.'
