Three Appointments for Hootology

January 23 2026

New York-based MR platform provider Hootology has appointed Katrina Noelle as Strategic Growth Director, Anirban Ghosh as a Data Scientist and Sangdi Chen as a Client Strategist.

Noelle, Ghosh and ChenHootology was launched in 2016 by Stefanie Francis (pictured), who previously co-founded Arizona-based measurement, insights and sponsorship ROI firm Navigate Research. Its GenAI-powered qual-at-quant-scale tool, HOOQZ, hosts dynamic discussions in simulated environments, which the firm says 'dramatically increases engagement' and helps researchers understand the reasons behind consumer decisions. A major upgrade to the platform is expected 'later this year,' according to the company.

Noelle (pictured top) founded qual consultancy KNow Research in 2003 and stakeholder and market research firm Scoot Insights in 2015 - she continues to operate KNow while in the new role at Hootology. Ghosh (middle) spent ten years at Hanover Research, latterly as Senior MD, Content Initiatives, and has also worked at Gartner Group and Save the Children. Chen (pictured below) is a former Bain strategist, who also spent six years at Metrix Lab and two and a half at Beall Research in Chicago, and holds an MA in Social Psychology from The University of Chicago. Noelle and Ghosh are working on a contract basis.

Hootology founder and CEO Stefanie Francis comments: 'I am ecstatic to have attracted the caliber of talent we have in Katrina, Anirban, and Sangdi... Our new hires are all people who care deeply about the psychology of human insights at scale, and are excited about modernizing the participant experience.'
