Former Oracle EVP Takes Reins at Qualtrics

Experience Management company Qualtrics has found a new CEO: Jason Maynard joins this week from Oracle, where he was EVP of Revenue Operations.

Qualtrics provides solutions for clients to continually assess and improve the four 'core experiences': Customer, Employee, Product and Brand. In 2023 the firm was acquired by investors for around $12.5bn from its previous owner SAP, and taken private. Four months ago it announced the acquisition of research and experience measurement software firm Press Ganey Forsta, for $6.75 billion, and shortly afterwards longtime CEO Zig Serafin announced he was leaving the role. In the intervening three months Jim Whitehurst and Mark Gillett have served as interim co-CEOs - they now return to their former roles as Board Chairman and Director, respectively.

Maynard brings around 30 years of experience scaling software companies. He joined Oracle through its 2016 acquisition of NetSuite, where he helped grow revenue nearly fivefold and the customer base from 11,000 to over 43,000. Before this he spent fifteen years as an analyst at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Wells Fargo. In his new role he will join the Qualtrics Board of Directors.
