Life sciences marketing agency ramarketing has completed the acquisition of North Carolina-based ISR Market Research, which provides syndicated and custom MR for the pharmaceutical outsourcing market.
ISR is based in North Carolina's Research Triangle Park (RTP), one of the largest pharmaceutical and biopharma hubs in North America. Clients include Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs) and Contract Research Organizations (CROs). Remarketing, which provides strategy, marketing, communications and creative support for pharma services and outsourcing organizations across Europe and North America, says the deal strengthens its NA presence while bringing together specialist market intelligence with strategy and marketing activation. Following the buy, ISR will retain its brand, structure and leadership, with Kate Hammeke continuing as CEO.
'One of the most exciting aspects of this partnership is the depth of insight ISR brings,' says Emma Banks, Group CEO at ramarketing. 'Their research connects us directly with thousands of pharma and biotech buyers across the outsourcing market, creating a powerful database of evidence that will help our clients make better strategic decisions.' She adds: 'This is a capability-led investment rather than a structural overhaul. ISR retains its identity and research integrity, while gaining access to broader commercial support as part of the group.'
Kate Hammeke (pictured), CEO of ISR, says the sale will allow the company to extend the impact of its work providing 'rigorous primary research and trusted insight' for the pharma outsourcing sector - without changing its approach and values.
