APAC Hire and Expansion for Data Firm Redslim

Data aggregation and activation specialist Redslim is expanding into the Asia-Pacific region, and has appointed Kyriakos Zannikos as Regional Director, APAC.

Redslim helps clients in the CPG and consumer healthcare sectors across more than 55 countries to realize the full ROI of their market data, bringing together unstructured and fragmented information and transforming it into ready-to-use data sets, for insights on commercial performance, market shares, marketing, innovation and pricing. In the past two years it has partnered with Kantar, which uses its SPRINT BI front-end to enhance the insights available from WorldpanelPlus; and corporate data management and integration firm Databricks, which will help scale its tech. The firm has been majority acquired by European private equity firm Astorg since 2024.

The APAC move will help Redslim support clients in the region, especially in the FMCG, consumer healthcare, beauty and luxury sectors. The firm says challenges with fragmented data ecosystems spanning multiple agencies, markets and datasets are particularly pronounced among Asia-Pacific companies, 'where diverse market structures and rapid growth create complex data environments.'

Zannikos (pictured) brings a track record of working across the data ecosystem with global beauty and healthcare brands. He founded market share data and competitive intelligence firm Digital Commerce Intelligence in 2018, in Singapore, and led the company for five years. Earlier he worked for a total of around nine years in marketing and Commerce Director roles for Abbott and Johnson & Johnson.
