Australian research software firm Displayr has launched an AI-based chat interface for its reports, allowing clients and stakeholders to get immediate answers to natural language questions, with each response hyperlinked to supporting tables and charts.
The firm offers an analysis and reporting platform built for market researchers and consumer insights teams, integrating advanced statistical analysis, automated reporting and interactive data visualization. Last month it launched Chat + Agents, which allows research teams to interrogate data sets and trigger automated research workflows without leaving their analysis environment - testing interpretations, exploring segments and refining the story they are building for clients.
Report Chat goes further, allowing recipients of a report / those watching a presentation to dig deeper into the findings - exploring, filtering and interrogating results on their own terms. The new feature works with the underlying data and statistical analysis behind the report, so every answer is grounded in the research itself and not just derived from the wording chosen for the report or presentation document.
Founder and CEO Tim Bock (pictured) states: 'Research has traditionally been delivered as static presentations or dashboards. Report Chat lets researchers give their stakeholders something far more valuable - the ability to keep exploring the findings long after the presentation ends, with every answer traceable back to the data.'
