In London, former Gartner and Morning Consult researcher Claire Tassin has joined consumer and market intelligence agency Mintel as Principal Strategist, Wellness.
Mintel was founded in the UK in 1972 and is known for its published consumer and market reports. It now employs more than 1,100 people in thirteen global offices and combines syndicated tools with custom insight solutions. Its offer includes a Global New Products Database (GNPD) adding data for more than 40,000 new products each month across 86 locations; and a recently launched CPG concept generation and testing tool, Spark. In June last year it announced it was acquiring Black Swan Data, which specialises in analysing and predicting trends from social media.
Tassin (pictured) spent eleven years at CEB prior to its acquisition by Gartner, latterly as Senior Executive Advisor focused on Small Business Marketing; then three more at Gartner as a Director-level Analyst. For the last four years she has worked at Washington-based decision intelligence company Morning Consult, as Lead Retail and E-Commerce Analyst, and has also freelanced as a Content Author and Consumer Research Analyst.
Mintel said of the hire on LinkedIn: 'Wellness is reshaping how consumers choose everyday products. Claire will help bring together cross-category insights to better understand the signals driving this fast-evolving space and where the next opportunities for brands are emerging.'
