New President and CEO for RCS Worldwide

Broadcast software and services company RCS Worldwide, the parent group of Media Monitors and of music trend tracker Mediabase, has appointed Susan Larkin, a past Chair of the RAB, as its new President & CEO.

She replaces Philippe Generali, who stepped down at the end of February after more than a quarter century as President, much of it also as CEO.

The group's offer includes audio creation tools, media intelligence, music analytics and television operations technology. Larkin (pictured) has led operations and strategy for some of the world's largest audio and media platforms, and most recently served as COO for free broadcast and online radio platform Audacy, overseeing 45 markets and more than $1bn in revenue. Before this she worked in senior leadership roles at Cox Media Group. In addition to Chairing the RAB (Radio Advertising bureau) she has won multiple awards as one of the most influential women in the radio industry.

In her new role she will focus on strengthening tools and systems to support client growth, with emphasis on shared measurement and cloud first product development. She reports to Mark Gray, CEO of Katz Media Group, who comments: 'Susan is widely respected across our field for her strategic insight and her ability to lead complex organizations with steadiness and purpose.
