Kantar has recently promoted longstanding HR leader Narelle Burke to Chief People and Agent Officer for its Global Research Group and APAC Region. Burke joined TNS from Nielsen in 2015.
The new role reflects Kantar's decision to 'unite its people strategy and agentic ambitions into a single People and Agents function... to ensure technology, culture and its workforce move forward together, so agents genuinely make work better for people while also driving commercial growth.'
Burke (pictured) worked at Medibank for four years in consulting roles, before moving to cruise company Royal Caribbean where she spent two and a half year as a Training and Development Manager and then HR Manager. After three years as Group HR Manager for New Zealand Cricket, she joined Nielsen in 2011 as AD Human Resources in Australia - she was later promoted to Director of HR for the SEANAP region (South East Asia, North Asia and Pacific), based in Malaysia. In 2015 she moved to TNS, again in an HR Director role, and since 2016 has served in Global roles for Kantar including Head of Talent, Learning and Leadership Development; Head of Inclusion and Diversity; and for the last four and a half years CHRO, HR, Insights APAC and Global Consulting.
In her new role, still based in Singapore, she will support the APAC Region Executive Leadership Team, but will also work closely with the Global Research Group.
