Users of Salesforce can now send automated SMS invites for SurveyMonkey research, from within the platform. The DIY surveys pioneer says this is game-changing because its own research suggests that some 58% of global survey responses in 2025 were captured via mobile devices.

With the update, CX and support teams can choose to have personalized text message survey invites automatically triggered when key events happen in Salesforce - for example closing a support case or completing a transaction. Salesforce data fields - including customer names, case numbers and specific case details - are inserted directly into the SMS for better personalization; and feedback is synced to Salesforce, with survey responses automatically mapped to the appropriate Salesforce objects and customer records.
Cormac Kelly (pictured), VP Customer Success at SurveyMonkey states: 'Customer insight is only useful if it's captured in the moment. By connecting SurveyMonkey's feedback platform with Salesforce's customer data, we're removing manual work and helping teams reach customers on their most interactive channel: mobile. This shift ensures feedback isn't just a lagging report, but a real-time signal that allows teams to act while the experience is still top-of-mind.'
The automated SMS feature is now available as an add-on to the integration, available on Salesforce's AppExchange enterprise marketplace. The latter was launched in 2006 and now boasting more than 9,000 apps and experts, and more than 14 million customer installs.
