British-based site performance testing and tracking firm Webtrends Optimize has appointed Samantha Bessant as Customer Success Director, and part of its senior management team.
Veteran Internet analytics company Webtrends acquired multivariate testing and site optimization specialist Widemile in 2009, and shortly afterwards launched Webtrends Optimize. In 2018 UK-based Accelerate Group Ltd acquired the division, whose tools now include A/B testing, personalisation, social proof, product recommendations and onsite surveys. Bessant (pictured) will be based in the firm's headquarters in Egham, Surrey, and lead a team of five across account management, support and onboarding, focusing on client relationships and the internal processes behind customer delivery. She brings experience from 'shoppable marketing' firm Adimo (as Head of Customer Success), eCommerce platform Poq and banking tech firm Artesian Solutions (now known as nCino).
CEO Matt Smith, quoted on www.itbrief.co.uk , said the hire reflects recent growth and plans for its next stage of development. He comments: 'Samantha's previous experience... means she brings a wealth of talent and ideas, which we know will grow our business further and build on our recent achievements.'
