US company Orbweaver, a provider of data integration, quoting and sales automation solutions for the electronics industry, is acquiring Budde Marketing Systems, specialist in POS data management and channel performance analytics.
Orbweaver, established in 2012, helps electronics industry clients to connect, streamline, and automate critical business processes, with benefits in efficiency and customer responsiveness. Budde, thirty years old this year, helps manufacturers across electronics, electrical and industrial sectors manage and analyze POS and channel performance intelligence through data collection, cleansing and reporting.
The combination promises clients of both firms a more comprehensive, end-to-end intelligence and orchestration platform purpose built specifically for electronic component manufacturers and distributors.
Christopher Ciesielka, CEO and co-founder of Orbweaver states: 'This acquisition represents a natural extension of our mission to simplify and modernize how the electronic industry ecosystem connects, transacts and collaborates together in pursuit of a more efficient and resilient supply chain.'
