Change of CEO for dunnhumby

Retail data and customer loyalty pioneer dunnhumby is getting a new Chief Executive: Jamie Samaha will take over from 20th July, succeeding Josh Bottomley, who has decided to step down.

Bottomley has been at the helm for around three years, and will remain with the company until July to smooth the handover. Samaha brings more than twenty-five years of experience leading businesses across customer intelligence, commerce media, loyalty, payments and consumer engagement. He joins from customer engagement and commerce media specialist Reward, where as CEO he led the business through a period of growth and expansion. In 2025 Reward launched a real-time dashboard called DemandInsight, and a customer intelligence solution, RewardIQ.

Earlier, Samaha led Australian fintech business Prezzee as it scaled in the UK and US, and served as EVP of Consumer Engagement Services at Mastercard.

dunnhumby is part of British supermarket chain Tesco, whose group CEO Ken Murphy comments: 'Josh has played a pivotal role in growing dunnhumby during a period of rapid technological change...
