The ARF (Advertising Research Foundation) is looking for a new leader, with longtime President and CEO Scott McDonald due to retire early next year. The vacancy was added to the MrWeb job board this afternoon with a salary of $350-450,000 per annum.
The ARF is headquartered in New York, was founded in 1936 and has more than 400 member companies. The organization exists to advance and promote industry standards and best practices. McDonald has spent nearly a decade at the helm, refocusing the organisation on its founding mission to advance the scientific practice of advertising and marketing through research; and presided over its acquisitions of CIMM, in 2018, and MSI, in 2021. His departure was announced in DRNO in April.
The ad - which by appearing in MrWeb's index can also be found on the web sites of ESOMAR, WIRe and GreenBook - outlines the organisation's near-term priorities and sets out an ideal candidate profile. We reckon someone with the latter is reading DRNO - see www.mrweb.com/results/jobtoday163018.htm and apply!
