Standards Body IQCS Appoints Auditor

In the UK, fieldwork standards body the Interviewer Quality Control Scheme has appointed Jenny Lyons as IQCS Auditor / Inspector, responsible for independently auditing member companies to help maintain and strengthen quality across the industry.

Jenny LyonsThe IQCS works for the continuous development, maintenance and promotion of quality data collection standards throughout the UK market research industry. Members uphold and adhere to a set of contemporary standards covering the recruitment, training and appraisal of data collection staff, and implement a number of procedures to ensure research is carried out 'to the highest standards', as well as streamlining processes

Lyons brings more than 30 years of experience in market research and has been supporting the IQCS for around a quarter of a century, including contributions via the IQCS Council from 2002 to 2017, as well as the organisation's working forums and training sessions. She has worked as an independent consultant for the last six years, and earlier in her career worked at MIL, NOP and GfK. Her experience across interviewer-led data collection includes recruitment, training, B2B and B2C fieldwork, and international projects. She brings to her new role deep operational understanding of telephone data collection and fieldwork quality.
