Cerkl Upgrade Aims to 'Transform' Employee Engagement

June 24 2026

In Cincinnati, internal communications technology specialist Cerkl has announced a major overhaul of its flagship business analytics platform, Broadcast. The new release, branded simply as 'Insights', aims to transform how internal comms teams measure, understand and optimize employee engagement.

Rachel FolzBroadcast offers plans for companies that communicate primarily via email, and those using multiple digital channels. The new 'Insights' version adds more structure and accessibility, with a focus on improved data visualization and navigation. The latter now includes a choice between rapid visualizations and more traditional customizable tables for users who prefer more granular analysis.

The new platform supports users in different roles across an organization, with outputs including high-level summaries and detailed performance data, covering data such as email engagement over time, content performance by channel, and audience-level insights across both campaigns and ongoing content. Organizational benchmarks are provided for context.

Insights also introduces expanded reporting capabilities across Broadcast channels, allowing for analysis of specific campaign performance, including audience reach and link engagement, and tracking of how individual audience members interact with content.

CEO and founder Tarek Kamil states: 'Internal communicators are expected to make decisions quickly, often without the time or tools to fully interpret their data. Insights is designed to remove that friction. It gives teams a clearer view of what's working, what isn't, and where to adjust, without requiring them to be analysts.' Rachel Folz (pictured), Head of Product at Cerkl, says the new package 'focuses on making data easier to understand and easier to share, so it can actually influence how organizations communicate.'
