The global research group is embarked on a long-term strategy called Horizons, which focuses on accelerating its operations across many areas, and on the integration of AI. Charbit (pictured) brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience, most recently from supermarket chain Carrefour, where she was briefly Group Transformation Program Director; and before this from working as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Europcar Mobility Group. Earlier in her career she spent sixteen years at Air France-KLM in senior roles including Chief Transformation Officer; and a decade as Principal at Accenture. She earned a PhD in Strategy & Management from Université Dauphine.
In her new role, in addition to core responsibilities, Charbit will support the CEO and other members of his office in tracking initiatives and business performance, helping drive the Group's reinvention, 'removing roadblocks, and proposing concrete actions.'
Poitou comments: 'As we accelerate the execution of our Horizons plan, with a sharp focus on speed and AI, we are reinforcing our leadership structure to ensure optimal steering of our strategy. I am delighted to welcome [Claire] to the team.'
