FIS Group Launches Fieldwork Specialist

July 13 2026

Newly unified UK company FIS Group has launched a fieldwork testing business called Noted, backed by a 'significant investment'. Noted will operate two dedicated UK testing sites, as well as international capacity, and plans to develop further hubs before the end of the year.

Kelly DowsonNoted forms the dedicated fieldwork business within FIS Group, which spans consumer insight, innovation and product testing, and last week absorbed the brands of sister companies Good Sense Research and Cambridge Market Research. Noted runs consumer testing for global FMCG, food, drink, household, personal care and retail partners, and offers Central Locations tests across the GB. The company has purpose-built testing hubs in Birmingham and Bury St Edmunds, and a consumer community of more than 25,000 people across the UK. International projects draw on a network of trusted global testing partners.

The hubs are purpose-built: Noted Fieldwork provides clients with access to food preparation and cooking facilities, temperature-controlled storage, controlled portioning and rotation, with full alcohol testing processes in place. MD Kelly Dowson (pictured) states: 'Good fieldwork is the foundation of good decisions, and it deserves a business built around it and nothing else. We have invested in two purpose-built hubs and a community of real UK consumers so that companies can test properly, whatever sector or market they work in.' Operations Director Steve Lawrence adds: 'We built Noted around the things that matter most to anyone commissioning fieldwork: the right people, tightly controlled logistics and an honest answer. Whether a team has a final product design or a prototype, they should pressure-test it. We will give them a straight view on approach, feasibility, timings and outputs, usually within a working day.'
