New UK CEO for Enterprise Data Firm Artefact

July 29 2026

Enterprise data and AI consulting company Artefact has appointed Athena Vooght as its new CEO in the UK, starting next week. She succeeds co-founder Pascal Coggia, who is stepping down after more than a decade to embark on 'a new business venture 'rooted in his Corsican heritage.'

Athena VooghtArtefact specializes in data and AI transformation and AI/data-driven marketing, including data quality and governance, data-driven customer experience and marketing ROI. The firm, which was founded in 2014 by Guillaume de Roquemaurel and Vincent Luciani, has more than 2,500 employees operating in 25 countries on six continents, and last year bought Brazilian financial sector data company Finor.

Vooght joined Artefact UK in 2022 as its first AI and data consulting leader, and has helped raise its revenue more than 100% and its headcount more than 200%, to more than 120 specialists. Her immediate focus is now to scale the UK team beyond 200, while deepening strategic relationships with AI tech giants including Anthropic, Google and OpenAI.

Coggia joined soon after the company's formation and helped establish the business in France before launching the Dubai office and then moving to build the business in London seven years ago. He will step down from his role at the end of the year. The firm says it 'extends its deepest thanks to Pascal for ten years of outstanding vision and leadership, and warmly congratulates Athena as she leads Artefact UK into its next era.'
