In Australia, behavioural intelligence company Flowing Bee has appointed Jonny Hanratty as Head of Applied Research & Strategy.
Flowing Bee is backed by Australian venture and institutional investors, and combines behavioural science, primary research and AI to help client organisations across Australia, Asia, the US and Europe understand customer and market behaviour, and identify where to act. The firm was founded in Melbourne in 2023 by behavioural scientist Michael Sankey, PhD, and former F1 engineer Sara Khorasani. The company nearly quadrupled its revenue in FY26 and doubled its client base.
Hanratty (pictured) brings fifteen years of experience in behavioural science, strategy and customer growth, most recently from cultural insights and strategy company The Lab, where he co-led the behavioural science business and collaborated with major accounts. Earlier he spent five years at The Behavioural Architects. In his new position, he will help to enhance Flowing Bee's applied behavioural science capabilities, leading senior client engagements, and developing new products and services.
'Jonny's superpower is understanding what really drives customer behaviour' says CEO Sankey, 'and how to change it... As Flowing Bee scales, Jonny will play a big role in deepening the value we create for clients and in shaping what we build next at the intersection of behavioural science and AI.'
The firm is on the web at www.flowingbee.com .
