Databricks Funds for British Firm Advancing Analytics

London-based data and AI consultancy Advancing Analytics has secured a growth investment - size unknown - from backers including Databricks, of whose partner network it is a member.

Founded in 2018 and with additional offices in Portugal, Advancing Analytics helps companies build and optimise governed, production-ready data intelligence platforms, AI agents and applications. It also works for public sector clients including the UK government. The firm is a Databricks 'Gold Brickbuilder Partner,' but also partners with Microsoft and AWS.

The deal makes Advancing Analytics the first UK-headquartered consulting firm to receive investment from Databricks Ventures, the data giant's investment arm - and is joined by another investor, IT services specialist Tercera.
