Houston, Texas-based healthcare customer data platform (CDP) Ours Privacy has raised $15 million in a Series A round of funding. Money will be used to expand operations and accelerate platform development.
Ours Privacy was founded by Jessica Holton, Adam Putterman and Tyler Zey in 2024. The trio were unable to find a compliant way to run marketing and analytics at their telehealth company, and therefore built their own. The original compliant CDP then added growth tools for marketers working in the sector, and has grown rapidly due to the challenge they face remaining HIPAA-compliant.
The platform collects and combines data from multiple sources through server-side tracking, filtering out sensitive information before it reaches users' ad platforms or analytics tools such as the built-in A/B testing options.
The round was led by Lightbank and Health Velocity Capital with participation from firms including Rock Health, Lakehouse, TMV, Switch Ventures, Starfire Ventures and GreyMatter.
Putterman, who is Chief Revenue Offices, states: 'The future of healthcare marketing is privacy-first. Putting privacy first makes marketing not only safer, but better.'
