Senior Hires for Fast-Growing RealityMine

Consumer behaviour tracker RealityMine has appointed Soumya Bijjal as Chief Product Officer, and Paula Iddon as Chief People Officer - both new roles. The firm says it grew revenue 75% last year, and has increased headcount by 50% since January.

RealityMine uses privacy-first in-app tracking technology to capture what people do on their smartphones and other devices, from e-commerce and media consumption to AI-powered search. Its data provides an in-depth view of competitive threats, both established and emerging; maps and quantifies the effects of AI disruption; spots trends and surfaces hidden innovation opportunities; and delivers reliable data to train proprietary AI systems. Earlier this year it appointed Phil Miles, a member of its Board since 2024 and a former Managing Director at Google and YouTube, as its new Chairman.

Bijjal (pictured above) brings more than twenty years' technical, program and product experience, from firms including Nokia, Nordea and SSH Communications Security. Most Recently she was SVP of Product at Aiven, an open-source data platform, where she was a member of the executive leadership team and led product management as the company grew from £12 million to over £100 million in ARR.

In her new role, she will lead RealityMine's product strategy, helping evolve its portfolio into scalable offerings that provide clients with faster access to high-quality behavioral data. While adding 'dozens' of specialists in its engineering, data, analytics and AI teams since the turn of the year, the firm also brought in Iddon (pictured below), in May, as its first Chief People Officer. Iddon has recently combined running her own HR business with a number of interim HR Director roles. Prior to 2020, she worked in Chief People Officer Roles at Mobica and South Tees NHS Trust, and earlier in her career she worked in talent and HR positions at firms including Co-Op Banking, Rolls-Royce, RBS, PwC, Astra Zeneca and ICL Fujitsu.
