Guideline has unveiled an SaaS / browser-based, AI-powered edition of its long-established TV audience analysis platform WRAP. The new use-anywhere version promises rapid onboarding, no overheads and continuous upgrades.
Guideline is a global provider of ad intelligence and media plan management technology. The firm's proprietary spend and pricing data represents more than $300 billion in annual media investment across 65 countries worldwide. The US-based company was formed through the acquisitions and combination of Standard Media Index, SQAD and Lumina.
WRAP has provided decision support based on linear TV ratings for more than 30 years, adding CTV ratings along the way, and the new WRAP Cloud release brings its local daily ratings, CTV audience measurement and other common reports into the browser, with full multi-market analysis. Customers' existing data licensing and access-level permissioning is unchanged, and the original WRAP Desktop product remains fully operational and supported alongside the new option.
The company says WRAP Cloud is built for a new reality where programming, sales, planning and leadership teams now depend on the same numbers, and work across offices, markets and home offices. The new solution makes the data available with 'nothing to install, no virtual desktop environments, and no manual data file management.'
CPO Steve Silvers (pictured) comments: 'The people who decide what airs, what it sells for, and where to invest next shouldn't have to wait for a seat on a dedicated machine to see how last night's audience behaved. WRAP Cloud puts 30 years of trusted analysis in front of everyone who needs it. It is also the blueprint for every Guideline product: the enterprise's trusted source of truth and intelligence, delivered on a modern SaaS platform that keeps improving and is built for AI.' John Yang, Lead Product Manager for the Guideline WRAP suite of products, adds: 'Teams keep the methodology and reports they trust and lose the installs, the virtual desktops, and the file management. And because WRAP is now a SaaS platform, every new report, dataset, and AI capability we build reaches every customer the day we ship it.'
