Swiss Firm Underheard Launches AI Interviewer Solution

Zurich, Switzerland-based startup Underheard has announced general availability of an AI solution which designs qual customer interviews based on study objectives, conducts them, and reports on the findings 'within minutes.'

Established this year, Underheard is backed by SFF Studio, the venture studio arm of Swiss Founders Fund. The firm says in its first three months it has conducted interviews for 27 organizations, ranging from hotels to multinational brands.

Underheard positions its approach as more accurate than synthetic data, popular with potential respondents, and producing longer answers than methods with typed responses. According to co-founder and CEO Navid Mani, 'Some companies now let AI guess what their customers would say. We'd rather ask them. Talking to people has always been the best way to understand them, but it never scaled. Asking a million people should be as easy as asking one.'

The company has made an AI guide named Lina available for anyone to talk to via a browser interface at www.underheard.ai/start - and is offering companies two free weeks of usage via this page.
