Seattle-based customer data specialist Amperity has launched Pér, an AI agent taking natural language questions from clients about customers, campaigns and audiences, and providing answers, recommendations and action - the last after approval from humans.
Amperity's existing patented identity resolution software helps brands to create an accurate view of their customers. Pér builds on this, working with a company's own customer profiles and examining what has changed and which customers are affected; explaining the evidence base for its recommendations, and proposing and preparing actions.
The firm says the new system leaves people in control - humans get the option to review, refine and approve next steps before action is taken; and is integrated with existing workflows, outputting approved audiences and decisions into the user's everyday marketing and business tools.
Kabir Shahani (pictured), co-founder and co-CEO at Amperity, states: 'The value of AI is not simply the answer it generates. It is the quality of the decision and action that follows. Pér is a teammate that works from a shared, trusted understanding of the customer and helps teams move from insight to approved action. It outperforms a generic CDP, or an AI model alone, because the data underneath it is complete, governed, and can immediately be put into action that drives measurable economic outcomes.'
Founded in 2016, Amperity operates globally with offices in Seattle, New York City, London and Melbourne, and is on the web at www.amperity.com .
