New York-based Siena, an AI-driven CX platform which automates customer interactions for consumer brands, has secured $17 million in Series A funding, with which to build more autonomous agents and achieve its aim of becoming 'the Agent of Record for consumer brands.'
Siena's software collects, analyses and shares customer Intelligence among agents and human teams across support, shopping, social, voice, retention and customer insights. The firm says it automates up to 80% of customer interactions, helping to fix problems, improve engagement and analyze feedback. Data from conversations, orders, subscriptions, reviews, loyalty programs and product / brand summaries contributes to analysis which can reveal product issues, assess customer service actions and predict future behavior.
Co-founder and CEO Andrei Negrau comments: 'We started by helping brands take care of their customers. Today, brands use Siena to help customers buy and guide decisions across the business. When an agent learns why someone buys or leaves, that understanding should travel with the customer and reach the people running the brand. The same understanding that helps an agent resolve a conversation can help a founder decide what to build next. Our ambition is for agents to manage the entire customer journey with that context.'
The round, which brings total funding to date to $29.7 million, was led by York IE, with participation from Joyance Ventures and existing investors Aglaé Ventures and Sierra Ventures.
The company was founded in 2023 and is online at www.siena.cx .
