Event technology company Cvent has launched a Center for Event Insights, which it says will 'unlock research, best practices and ideas that move the industry forward.' Mike Dietrich will lead the new initiative as Vice President.
Cvent provides a combination of an AI-powered platform, real-time analytics and longer-term insights, and in-depth expertise, helping customers to plan, market and run in-person, virtual and hybrid events of any size - it also gives hotels, venues and destinations a global marketplace to win and keep business. The firm says it has helped to manage almost ten million events.
The new Cvent Center for Event Insights will have three focus areas: sharing proprietary data and the results of commissioned research on focused industry topics; convening industry experts to solve challenges facing the industry; and providing practitioners with a forum to share best practices. Two initial reports have already been published, dealing with best practice for using AI in event management.
'In the age of AI, technology is rapidly reshaping how people connect, plan and create unforgettable experiences,' comments CMO Amy Lucia. 'We want event, marketing, and hospitality teams to have the insights and best practices to adapt and excel. After more than 25 years supporting this industry... we're launching the Cvent Center for Event Insights to connect practitioners, elevate conversations, and bring forward research and expertise that equips this community to thrive.'
